Scrollbar improvements
CodeGlance https://plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/7275-codeglance
is currently the only decent plugin scrollmap plugin for jetbrains ide's however it really should be built in as standard much like the official visual studio 2017 version is. Along with improved support for highlighting errors etc on the actual scrollmap instead of the inaccurate built in scrollbar.
Then fix these issues so it actually feels like it is part of the IDE experience.
1. Code lens support on the actual scrollmap.. seems kinda silly that codelens works fine on the original scrollbar, but on the scroll map it does nothing. Until you realize that oh yeh I had to get the scrollmap as an extension because unlike other editors jetbrains never built in this functionality.
2. Provide the option to remove the default scrollbar, currently is no way to do. You guys at jetbarins fail to realize that many users are having to use addons for improved functionality in these areas, where you don't even provide the option to remove your minimum effort feature. Because when using the scrollmap, currently it is incredibly annoying having to see a scrollbar that bares no alignment to the scrollmaps active positioning. The scrollmap is already more useful than the scrollbar, add the option to remove the scrollbar already. How can it be that hard I've already seen people requesting customization options it.. surely an option to just hide it completely isn't so difficult is it?

Thanks for the feedback, please follow https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEABKL-5794.
Serge Baranov that's a request from 2010 with a banned assignee, any chance this could be moved up on the priority line with a minimap highlighting supporting selected text and git status?
Thanks,
Currently there are no plans for this on the nearest future.
The nearest future.. ie this week..and next week jetbrains are going to start working on something that should already be in all IDE's like it is in the other major ones? Kinda loathed the company I work at pays for intellij ultimate licenses... you won't even get Tabs or Scrollbar features on par with Visual Studio(Community) or VScode ..and those are both free..... I mean.. this is a disappointing response.
