Cannot open or create any projects in PHPStorm 2018.1.6
Macos 10.12.6.
Just installed PHPStorm 2018.1.6 and it cannot open my projects (previously created in PHPStorm 9), nor can it create a blank new one.
Some help appreciated.

Hi there,
Check what idea.log has to say about this -- any exceptions etc ("Help | Show Log in XXX").
P.S. If you cannot get pass the Welcome screen -- press shortcut for "Help | Find Action" (Ctrl+Shift+A here on Windows) and type "Show Log in" there.
Alternatively -- locate idea.log file manually: Directories used by the IDE to store settings, caches, plugins and logs
