I need to change the syntax highlight from textfile to groovy. How do I do that?
Other posts mentioned preferences or settings but I can't find either option?

Hi Brian, PyCharm has no Groovy support, unfortunately. You either should switch to IntelliJ with Python plugin or experiment with Groovy Textmate bundle:
