Project Non-Source files in "Project Files" view no longer greyed out.

已回答

I just noticed that in CLion 2018.1 that non-source files (i.e. ones that are not listed as source files in CMakeLists.txt) are no longer greyed out in the Project Files view.  Is this by design?  If so I would request that you put that feature back in.  I do see that there is now a "Project Non-Source Files" view that does just that and that is useful, but I do find it valuable when looking at the complete project file list that the non-project files are grayed out.

Thanks,

Craig

Hi, Craig,

Thank you for the feedback. The greyed color was intentionally replaced with the icons badges. Please read the following comment from the responsible developer and feel free to comment the issue.

Thanks Anna for the link.  I did leave a comment there as well.  From that link I learned that there are tiny blue dots on the file icons that are included in the project and no dots when they are excluded..  The fact that I totally missed them and needed to study the images to finally see the difference proves that they are completely ineffective.  I would like the files NOT included to be greyed out as they were.  The dots are definitely a step backwards.
