Editor Tab Activation Policy

Hi,

Is there a way to get closing and moving of tabs to cause the activation of the most recently active tab? The scenario that happens a lot to me is that I've got a file I'm working on, that likely was 3 or 4 files from the most recently opened. I then need to reference another file that happens to be in the same tab group, I switch to that file, drag it to my other tab group and now some other file popups because it was the most recently opened.

Similar scenarios when I no longer need a tab open, I realize it while I'm working on another tab. I close the no longer needed tab and some other file pops to the front, not the one I was *just* looking at.

It's a mild irritation that encountered multiple times a day and it would be lovely if there was a way to fix it that entail me always having to maintain a strict left-to-right or right-to-left order.
