Method is never used

In this code, 'notifyObserver()' method is marked as 'never used'.
What is the problem? It is called in main() method but the inspection doesn't disappear.

Try File | Invalidate Caches/Restart.. | Invalidate and Restart. If problem remains, provide a sample project where issue is reproducible and your File | Export Settings... jar attached.
