Do you want to use single-click to open a folder in Project View? In fact, you could expand folder contents already by single-clicking on the arrow icon:
If you want to open files with the single-click on the file name, you could change the behaviour by right-clicking on the Project View and enabling "Autoscroll to source" setting:

Sooo… what about folders though?
