How to get settings repository to save IntelliJ Registry and custom VM options?

I've just set up the Settings Repository, but noticed that my custom IntelliJ registry settings and VM options weren't imported after overwriting local settings. How can I get these to be saved to my settings repository?

Hello. I don't think sharing VM Options is a wise decision, these settings should stay machine and OS specific.
That is understandable as a general rule of thumb, but it avoids the question. Is it possible to export VM Options and/or registry settings to my settings repository?

No, this is not possible, these settings are not importable.
