DataGrip Interface Glitches, please clarify.

已回答

Hi Team,

Could you please clarify is it a known bug or expected behavior (I hope it is not)?

Some glitches appear in DataGrip interface from time to time. When I pick a tab with required file UI switches me to a random one instead of selected. Rude and rapid switch with blinking UI elements.

Environemnt:

1. DataGrip has a set of different database sources (10 Oracle, 3 ClickHouse, 4 PostgreSQL). To be on the same page, some sources are for the same schema but different databases. Some sources have different schemas on the same database.

2. Two DataGrip instances are running at the same time.

2. I work with a set database console windows at the same time. As an example, 2-3 oracle schemes in one DataGrip instance and CLickHouse in another one. A set of source code files are already open.

What's going on:

When I'm going to open a new file in Files tab - UI kicks me to a random tab.

N.B. The issue is rare and appears randomly. Please check attached idea.log file (https://www.icloud.com/iclouddrive/0pWdrZGBIfkQWwwU8wE-2Zo7w#logs-datagrip-20190117).

Update: Reproduced the issue a few times in a row. Main actions are: a) click on File tab to open an existent file from directory; b) click on existent open tab. No matter what option a) or b) -> UI will bring to from console window (first one in set of open tabs). Btw, when option a) -> file will be open as tab but will be inactive.

Best regards,

Kostyantyn

Might be fixed in the latest version, please, check https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/DBE-7543

BTW, our issue tracker is the better way to submit bugs.

Hi Maxim,

Thank you for the reply.

I have had a bad experience with DataGrip issue tracker before. I will give it a second chance though it does not look as a better way to submit bugs at the moment.

Best regards,

Kostyantyn
