CLion 2019.1 EAP Build #CL-191.4738.15 project folder names not alphabetically sorted

Could you please check whether the "Sort by Type" option is enabled? If the option is off, the items should be sorted alphabetically. If the option is on, the files should be sorted by their extensions.

The option is off! The folder names are not sorted alphabetically, inside the folder all file names are sorted alphabetically.

Unfortunately, I can't reproduce it on my side. There is a similar issue in the platform's tracker: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-192641. Feel free to comment it or create a new one.

As I said, this happens only in the actual EAP from Jan 31th. When I start CLion 2018.3.4 all is fine. Is there any diagnostic I can make?

Yes, I got that. But no issues about such problem in EAP have been reported (I've checked trackers of all IntelliJ-based IDEs).

Not sure. You can check whether you can stably reproduce the issue not in your project: create a default "Hello, World!" project, add some folders, check whether they are sorted correctly. 

Anyway please leave a comment under https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-192641 about the situation you've faced. A responsible developer may suggest something.

Hello Anna, I wanted to inform you, that with the last CLion 2019.1 EAP Build #CL-191.5532.20 the project folder names are sorted correct again. I am happy, that this has been solved so easily :-)
