Use autoreload in scientific mode

Is it possible to use the autoreload function in scientific mode? This would mean that if a function or class definition changes after import that latest change is propagated when I run a cell.

In jupyter notebooks you can use the following code to enable autoreload:
%load_ext autoreload # Load the extension
%autoreload 2 # Autoreload all modules

Is there any way to enable this behaviour in scientific mode?

Context: I am currently trying to switch from jupyter notebooks to pycharm scientific mode.
