Gradle Import (auto-import) overrides defined groups

is it possible to configure Intellij so that defined Groups File -> Project Structure -> Modules will not be changed on re-imports?

My companies gradle envirionment creates a master module, where all submodules (50) will be direct children. To get a better overview i like to group them. That works fine, until i've to re-import the master.
