How can I activate split mode for my Toolwindows?

I have two Toolwindows attached to the left side (TODO and Project) and I want them to be shown one above the other. I thought there was a split mode for Toolwindows, but I couldn't find it.

Are they located at the different parts of the left side (one at the top and one at the bottom)?
Nope, both at the top.

Move one of them at the bottom. Then you could open them side-by-side.
