annoying popup/steal focus on init

When launching pycharm, it will popup and steal focus twice. Upon initialization, it pops up, I minimize it. it pops up again, and so.

Is there anyway to configure the pycharm, so it will not popup the main window?

Hi,

There is a number of tickets covering that issue. See https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-208970 and the linked tickets.

Try adding suppress.focus.stealing=false to Help | Edit Custom Properties as a workaround.

I tried suppress.focus.stealing=false but it did not work. It steals focus as usual.

I'm sorry to hear that the issue persists.

Please follow the relevant issue in YouTrack and feel free to submit another one if none of them fully cover your case.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find another possible workaround.
