Pycharm - when deleting a file, subversion doesn't ask to schedule for deletion

Hi, I'm having issues with the schedule for deletion option in PyCharm. When I delete a file, the window asking to delete from subversion doesn't show.
In Settings->Version Control->Confirmation, in the when files are deleted section, the "show options before removing from version control" is the selected one.
I'm using Pycharm 2019.3. I'm sure this was available in a previous version
Can anyone help please?
