Hi, I am running clion on mac os, but I can't debug the program
It shows 'process launch failed: failed to get reply to handshake packet'

macOS 10.11 is not supported, only macOS 10.13 or later are supported - https://www.jetbrains.com/help/clion/installation-guide.html#requirements.
You can try using CLion 2020.1.1, but I'm not sure it will help.
I updated the mac os to 10.15, and it works. thanks
