Add to source control dialog on new file

Under default settings for a project managed by git when you create a new file a dialog appears asking if you want to add the new file to source control. I accidentally indicated I never wanted to add files to git / see this dialog again. I've searched through settings and made internet searches but can't seem to figure out how to reenable this behavior under settings. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.
