Mouse clicks stops working intermittently

Hi,
Sometimes the mouse clicks stop working on IntelliJ. I cannot click on anything, including editor, project structure, terminal, the close/minimize/maximize icons. But if I type something it does work. Including shortcuts to switch between files, ALT + F to open File menu etc.
Once I restart the problem gets resolved but it starts to appear again.

Need to mention that I've been facing this issue for quite a few months, so it may not be related to current version. Also, the same problem I've faced with community edition.
