Do JetBrains developers read comments on their commits on GitHub?

Hi,
There is a small issue with the following commit:
https://github.com/JetBrains/intellij-community/commit/e5b759e558d55c5240ff397f74efd4a633acfc5a
I've commented that problematic part change in the commit itself but it seems nobody has read it yet.
Is such a way of communication with JetBrains developers supported? I mean not a PR but a regular commit in the master branch.
BTW could that part of the commit be reverted? With that mistakenly added line I get an error message about an invalid VCS root mapping.

Please rather post a question here in this forum or file a report in YouTrack https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues/IDEA
PS: I've pinged the developer to answer here.
Hi Rostislav,
Yann is right: this forum or youtrack issue are preferred,
Regarding your question: this change in vcs.xml is indeed a mistake, I'll revert it. Thank you for reporting it.
Yes, it's fixed now, thanks.
What is the right place to discuss or ask questions about commits in the IntelliJ community repository? I thought the YouTrack is only for end-user issues. Also there could be just questions without any issue, even with development.
You can always post a new thread here or ask on Slack #intellij-platform https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360006494439--ANN-JetBrains-Platform-Slack-for-Plugin-Developers
