Live editing wordpress themes

Hi,

I would like to view changes automaticly as I'm writing templates for wordpress and I thought the new built in preview brower would be a good fit for that but I haven't been able to get it to work. I run a xampp webserver on localhost:80 and when I try to open index.php in preview browser I get the not found from my apache server. How should I configure this properly?
