Upgrade path from JetBrains 1.0.22218 on Windows server 1607 build 14393.4350 hyper-v 2016

I see we may be far behind on our jetbrains version and would like to get to the latest stable product.

A backup would be nice to know if it is needed and what is the best practice of proven paths jetbrains supports.
