Are The Dialogs Deliberately More Chunky?

In the latest EAP the dialogs have more unused space around them and the buttons are larger than normal:
It reminds me a bit of the Nimbus LAF.
Is this a deliberate change to the LAF or is it a bug in the dialog code?

It's not a bug, the new alerts UI is currently under development and will be fine tuned further. It's already decided to make the buttons smaller, hope the empty space around the elements will be optimized as well.
