Debug Attach to Process Not Working

I am trying to use the Attach to process feature to debug this very large project. But whenever I attach to process, I get the message "the breakpoint will not currently be hit. No executable code is associated with this line." Does anyone have any experience with this?

Please enable debugger logging as described here, reproduce the issue and send the resulting idea.log file (`Help | Show Log in ...`) to clion-support at jetbrains.com along with a link to this thread. Do not forget to disable debug logging after that. Note that logs might contain private user's information (like file paths and names).
