Can you show compilation messages in IntelliJ?

I'm trying to replicate what's shown in the gif at the top of  https://getquill.io/ within the gif where it shows the sql query in intellij (the example shown uses eclipse). Reading in the article, it's done as a compilation message. I can't find a way to mimic this functionality in intellij. Is it possible? If so, can someone guide me on how to do this?
