IntelliJ refactoring (e.g. rename) causes freezes the app for ages

Hello
I am on Arch Linux and followed the official install instructions. When I try to rename a variable or do some other refactoring, IntelliJ freezes and becomes unresponsive. It remains like this until I kill the app. I've waited 20 minutes and nothing happened.

Can you reproduce the issue after disabling all custom plugins (File | Settings | Plugins | Installed | ⚙ | 'Disable all downloaded plugins') and restarting the IDE?
