Why is San Francisco Compact Display's Font rendering bold in JetBrain's IDEs?
I run Ubuntu 21.10 and I set my system font a while ago to Apple's San Francisco Compact Display. Of late, I have noted that, all of my Jetbrains IDEs started to render to the San Francisco's Compact Display's bold weight instead of the normal weight I set for it. They previously used to render just fine. They currently look like this:

The font returns to normal weight whenever I choose a different font for my system font; such as San Francisco Compact Text or San Francisco Compact Rounded but reverts to the bold setting whenever the system font is San Francisco Compact Display. At first, I thought it had something to do with the updated IDEs but even when I decide to install a previous version, it resulted in the same thing.
I am currently trying to understand why this is so so that I can plot a way forward (if I should rid the font entirely or perhaps install it differently or see if there's a bug in my OS).
I request assistance in understanding why the font San Francisco Compact Display is rendered in bold in what seems to be only Jetbrain's IDEs. My other applications and editors (such as VSCode) render the font just fine.

Hello,
Do you use default theme in "Settings | Appearance & Behavior | Appearance"? Could you please try to run IDE under different (not jetBrains one) JDK: https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/articles/206544879-Selecting-the-JDK-version-the-IDE-will-run-under ?
I tried setting the JDK version to the Oracle 11 one I have and it did work. Thank you very much.
