Is there a way to track idea indexing action?

Hey there,
as a productivity engineer, as a datapoint I would be interested to see how much time per day is spent on indexing in idea. Is there a way to track that or is there an api to create some sort of plugin to track this information?

Hello Rene currently in the log bundle there is a html report generated for each project in "indexing-diagnostic" folder. Please also check this issue: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-286896
