60 sec to create a primitive project with... ERROR
1 year ago I tried Intellij idea and decided to see if they at least change "the most basic". Make an easy manual hello world (nothing pre-made with springboot or Spring Initializr)
I decided to create a simple "manual" spring project and started adding the libraries/dependencies to make it manual, to see if it at least boots in its primitive form. Something as simple as a hello world:

I had to delete the project, create it again and import it again, it worked. Could someone explain the magic trick to me? I hope they don't tell me it was an internal file problem... I can't imagine if that happened to me in a Google project... What would we do without backups?

Why did I do it this way? Because I see some projects with "too many problems" that use the Intellij idea.
So if the manual way doesn't work well, I can't imagine swapping or modifying a pre-made spring boot project with an archetype and making changes. I can't figure it out, because I'm 101% sure it will give an error.
We are no longer talking about remotely linked dynamic projects that call each other over security connections using protocols and... We are talking about a simple custom or primitive project.
You may think "hey, this person has a lot of problems, it must be their fault." Gentlemen, this has been discussed with many large project engineers I have come across. For simple projects use Intellij, for large projects use Eclipse.
I can never come close to thinking why simple "not pre-built" projects give me too many errors.

I have nothing against Intellij's idea, they just don't do it right. Eclipse already had its boos, even today it doesn't do things quite right either, but it still works. It is a car that continues to work.

When you know what problems to fix but an IDE gave weird problems that have nothing to do with the project itself, you're talking about losing money.

Please file a bug at https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/newIssue?project=IDEA with the sample project attached that doesn't import for you. Please also attach the logs via Help | Collect Logs and Diagnostic Data.
I'm off to Eclipse. Maybe next year I will come here again... What a disappointment, not even a hello world for a dependency...

Try to reimport the project. Please also try File | Invalidate Caches | Invalidate and Restart.
Make sure Maven indexed the repositories without errors here:
The invalid cache, update mvn, clear project... I did it.

This doesn't mean anything. master branch is expected to receive all the commits, there are also EAP and release branches that get only verified commits and are more stable.
