I have an intel i5-12500H, 32GB ram config and intellij is lagging a lot, I checked the cpu usage, it is not much

How is it lagging? Could you show a screencast?
Try disabling all downloaded plugins and update IntelliJ IDEA to the EWAP version (2022.2).
