[Accessibility] macOS "Follow keyboard focus" issue

已回答

Hello,

I'm a visually impaired user working with a screen magnifier(macOS built-in, split-screen mode) in order to be able to see editor text and elements, using the "Follow keyboard focus" (when typing) accessibility feature of macOS to be able to follow what i'm typing without having to move the mouse every time.

the zoom accessibility feature "Follow keyboard focus" on macOS (Monterey/Ventura) doesn't work anymore since IntelliJ IDEA 2021.2, the keyboard focus is. not followed in the zoom area when typing code in the editor.

Thus, I'm stuck with IntelliJ IDEA 2021.1.3 because it's the last version on which the "Follow keyboard focus" when typing still works, I was expecting new versions to solve this issue but the problem remains even in the last version (IDEA 2022.2.3).

Any ideas about what changes during the update 2021.1.3 => 2021.2 broke this accessibility feature ?

Antoine Pichon as far as I can see you have already upvoted JBR-4478. Hope this issue will be addressed by the nearest IDE version. Sorry for the inconvenience.
