That's not odd. Welcome to the classpath hell ;). I'm afraid the only way out is either to move Groovy files to another module with another classpath, or to change your Spring/Hibernate libraries' ...

Oh no, the answer is the same. Your groovy*.jar is anyway compiled against another version of CGLIB, so it's still classpath hell, sorry.

Maven task environment doesn't depend on IDEA's Grails SDK (probably it should, I'm not sure). Please try to change GRAILS_HOME environment variable systemwide.

Could you please post the screenshot of the 'Server' module dependencies tab? Where are the 'Common' module sources located on the disk relatively to the 'Server'?
