Anders, what error does AppCode show if any?Try saving the project and Xcode again and check *.xcodeproj/project.pbxproj files format. It should be NS-plist (with curly-braces), not the xml.

No, currently AppCode doen't offer customizable tool windows' schemes.Please follow and vote for http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-62247.
