David, we are aware of this shortoming, but haven't found a way to add it in Java, yet. Please follow IDEA-88188 for the progress.

Steve, thanks for reporting, this looks like an oversight - Objective-C currently doesn't support custom regions, though other languages may; so this action should be diabled in OC files.

Thanks for the update, Doug;the problem may have been related to the files outside of the project root. This issue has been fixed in 3.0 EAP.Anyway, please let us know if you see anything like that...
