I was seeing this regularly updating to today's latest version as well - and yes it drives one nuts. I cleared out my ~/Library/Caches/Jetbrains folder and the problem was solved.

2. IntelliJ IDEA Users
3. IntelliJ is CONSTANTLY freezing on me - desktop or laptop ... doesn't matter
