I am finally getting back to this. Tight deadlines... had to revert to devtools for debugging.   Before i include the log, allow me to mention that I CAN see the stack trace on my mac... exact same...

I am having the same issue that originated this thread. I have not touched "JAVA_OPTS".    Can anyone advise?

I apologize for having posted this.  It seems to be working fine now.  I thought I had inspected my performance monitor and didn't see any other processes taking CPU.  Apparently, something was.   ...
