The IDE crashes

Problem

The IDE crashes.

Resolution

The word "crash" is commonly used for two different cases:

• the IDE closes unexpectedly, or
• the IDE freezes and stops responding.

In both cases, there may be multiple causes, and the issue should be reported and investigated. Please do the following:

1. Submit a new bug report in https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues/WEB,
2. Provide detailed information about what exactly happened and which type of "crash" it was,
3. Attach logs collected via Help | Collect logs and diagnostic data.
