IntelliJ IDEA 2017.1.1 community on Mac OSX Sierra don't close project window after closing the project

After upgrading to IntelliJ IDEA 2017.1.1 (community) , when I have multiple project windows that are open, and I'm trying to close one of the projects, the project window isn't closing and the "File"->"Close project" is being disabled on this project
