IDEA hangs on monitor change
Answered
Environment:
OS: Mac OS Sierra
IDEA: 2017.1
Monitors: Dell P2214H - 2x
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run IntelliJ in External Monitor
2. Close the Mac or Sleep
3. Start Mac without connecting Monitor
4. Use IntelliJ
5. Close the Mac or Sleep
6. Connect to External Monitor
7. Start Mac
Expected Behaviour:
IDEA should run normally
Observed Behaviour:
IDEA shows busy icon and is not responsive
I have to kill and reopen all my IDEA windows. This happens all the time when the monitor changes and it is very frustrating as I have to do this twice on a daily basis.

My OS version is different, but the issue is same. I'm not creating a new bug anymore.
I am running 2018.1.4 and I am experiencing the same problem on macOs 10.13.4
Please add your logs and the thread dumps to IDEA-172785 as described above. Thank you.
Ok, attached.
The same here (macOS 10.13.4 and Intellij 2018.1.4). I have this behaviour only since I upgraded from Sierra to High Sierra. I didn't have this issue before.
I'll attach the thread dump and logs to IDEA-172785.
