Intellij & SSD?

I want to know if intellij idea is optimized for SSD;
For example does intellij idea read more than it writes I'm specifically talking about intellij auto save ability is it intensive writing?
what about indexing and other operations.

IntelliJ IDEA reads much more than writes. Reads are mostly in random order.
