Is Android Studio's “Google Cloud Module” available for IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate 2017?
Is "Google Cloud Module" available for IntelliJ IDEA somehow? If it is just a "streamlining" feature that is missing, how do I create an effective "Google Cloud Module" in IntelliJ IDEA (presumably in a less streamlined way)?
Android Studio has "Google Cloud Module" available (which, for example, is used to create a Google Firebase App Engine backend for an Android app).
The JetBrains FAQ link below states "Android Studio is focused specifically on Android development and provides streamlined environment and project setup, but otherwise all of its features are available in IntelliJ IDEA."
I have a superset project in IntelliJ IDEA with web, phone and desktop apps (and shared code). I would like to be able to follow the Google starter tutorial for Firebase using IntelliJ to jump-start my Android app. I have checked File | New | Module and I have also searched for plugins inside IntelliJ IDEA.
Using: Android Studio 2.3.3, IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate 2017.2.1, Google App Engine Standard, Firebase, Windows 10.
