IntelliJ + MXML Design View plugin + Flex SDK

I am currently using Intellij 2017.1.4 and investigating is there is a MXML Design View plugin. I have tried the MXML Design Preview 171.2687 but it just freezes up when trying to view a .mxml page.
Is there currently support for viewing and designing a MXML design in Intellij. If so what are the versions(Intellij, plugin and SDK) to use. If not, are there plans to support.
At the moment, we are going to move toward making code changes in Intellij and use Eclipse with Flex plugin for MXML design. It's not ideal but we rather do most work in Intellij.

MXML Design View plug-in is of the low priority for developers and lacks many features, you can consider it experimental. We recommend using third-party solutions that work best for you.
