can't connect between intellij idea and mysql workbench

HI.

i wrote a program that call teachers and student manage, after that i build a database for that program.

now i try to connect between 2 program using odbc driver but i always fail when i try to connect .

i have an mysql-workbench and intellij idea the latest version build IC - 172.4155.36 build on September 11.2017 .

also i try to search in you're posted for help but didn't fund any thing that cold help me.

so please i need help, if some body know how to do it i would be accept there/his or hers help.
