Intellij keeps showing spinning wheel when typing and is very very slow

Hi there,

I am using IntelliJ IDEA 2017.2.4 Community Edition on my Mac OS X, and I have noticed that it has been very very slow when I am editing my Java project.

 

Every time I type a word, I see it freeze for like a few seconds and then I see the spinning wheel for a split second.

Is there any feature I can disable to speed this up?

Hi Serge, I filed my issue already at https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-179465 and uploaded the YouKit Java snapshots like you said. How soon do you think I could get this investigated? Thanks
