I can not indent with tab

I do not hear the operation of 'Edit> indent selection', but is there any setting?

What file type do you edit? What happens when you press Tab? Please provide a screenshot.
Indent Selection action is available only when you have some code selected.
I have selected edit, but 'indent selection' can not be selected
By the way, i can select 'indent selection' if you select a character
That is by design, since the action works with the selection.
