Markdown files cannot be edited at all (IDEA 2023.2 on Linux)

Under a fresh install of IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate 2023.2 on Linux Arm64, I cannot use the Markdown editor.

If I click on an md file, nothing happens.

This worked fine under 2023.1

If I disable the bundled Markdown plugin, then I can edit the md files but of course loose the preview pane and the syntax highlighting.

Please file a bug at https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/newIssue?project=IDEA with the logs attached using Help | Collect Logs and Diagnostic Data.
