on macos14.1.1 intellij can not be open by double click

intellij 2023.2.4

I can't open intellij by double click the icon. now I open intellij by run: /Applications/IntelliJ\ IDEA.app/Contents/MacOS/idea

Do you mean that you are able to start IDEA from the terminal using command line? Do you see any errors? Please share the zipped log folder Help | Collect Logs and Diagnostic Data with us for further investigation. 

If you are unable to start IDEA anyway, you can find the log from ~/Library/Logs/JetBrains/IntelliJIdea2023.2 

You can upload the logs to https://uploads.jetbrains.com/ and let us know the upload ID.

after remove the dir : ~/Library/Application Support/JetBrains/IntelliJIdea2023.2 , now every thing gose well.

Cool, deleting configuration directory could be helpful sometimes as documented here in step 5
