Code folding bugged

Everytime I try to unfold the code that is folded it folds back up. Expand all doesnt work, the code folds back up.
Any ideas? cheers

Can you reproduce it with the default settings in the current IDE release version? File | Manage IDE Settings | Restore Default Settings…: https://i.imgur.com/kbrkC7w.png

I'm very new to this and restoring the default settings fixed it.
As to what happened, I have no idea. It was a .java file. Clicking the {…} to expand the hidden code showed the code for a brief second then closed it again.

I am also facing this issue. Very frustrating. Will try restoring defaults.
