Find in Path doesn't remember Scope

Answered

I typically use Custom but some times when I reopen Find in Path it selects Whole Project Directory instead. Is this a bug or is it trying to be smart? Just remember my last choice!

I second this motion!  I see two behaviors, first if you have a file selected in the find pane, the search will default to, 'Directory' with the path set to the containing folder of the file selected in teh find pane.  If you are in the edit pane (normal case), it alwasys defaults to Whole Project, which then typically finds lots of stuff in the log files and what not.

Please remember the last selection and use that as the default.

Hey, I just noticed that in build 96.552 this now remembers.  Thanks!

I exclude the log directory in Settings | Project Structure.

I have 2019.2 version, and it does not remember. I've also added the vendor directory to excluded but does not matter.

Default is always the Directory, not the Scope.

Vasoczki Ferenc just to be sure, could you please check the behaviour in 2019.3 Beta?

Meanwhile, my IDE has automatically updated to 2019.2.4, and now it is ok.
