is this restored in 15.0? It used to work in older versions (12 and down) but 14 blocked or closed any running instances when starting one on another computer.
There was a bug in older versions so that it didn't work properly. It was fixed in IDEA 14 and it worked as designed. Now the restriction has been removed for personal licenses.
