vagrant git client

Is there anyway to tell PHPStorm to use the vargant SSH environment git when it does the GUI Git stuff?  I have pre-commit hooks setup in the Ubuntu guest which won't work in my Windows host.  

Or

Can I commit in the GUI and disable hooks?
